Over Christmas break!!

I am planning on spending time with all my family and friends of course. I also plan to go shopping and get gifts for my friends and family. I think I am going to mostly stay home and spend more time with my mom because I have not really spend time with her this couple last days. I been going out to much. I just hope that for this Christmas and New Years I hope that all my sisters and brothers and everyone is all together and having fun and enjoying every little second of it. I think I am going to visit some of my aunts and cousins to since we don't really see each other so often. Since I have broken up with my boyfriend I still plan on inviting him over to my house and spend Christmas with me and my family since all my family like him. I think that will be pretty fun having him over and who knows what can happen between me and him again. We might get back or we might not. I just hope that everything comes out grate and that all my wishes come true.

BOOK to read over break!!

The book that I read on someones blog was called Coraline!!
I was reading about what it was about and that book caught my eye. I think it sounds pretty interesting to read over the break. I am interested in it more because they made the movie in Portland,OR

I also like this story that I read on Bailey's blog called Marked. I think that book sounds pretty interesting

The time of day that I think I would have the most opportunity to read would have to be at night because that's when I don't have much to do and I just stay in my room calmed and enjoy the book.

Eliminate holiday!!

The holiday I think I would eliminate would probably have to be Halloween in a way because I think there is no point to it really. I at least think there isn't any. I do like it but I think that's the one I would have to eliminate. I like the rest of the holidays because you spend more time with your family and get together and just have a good time. Now for Halloween it seems like its just for a little while and get candy and then go back home and go to sleep or check your candy to see if they are safe or not. I just think that Holiday is my last choice on my list. Even though my birthday is on that month I still think it's boring.

Me, Myself, and I

I will probably have to describe myself as pretty outgoing, funny person. I am a person who loves to meet new people and I am a person who is always laughing and just has a smile in my face all the time. I am never angry or sad or mad because life is to short to be an angry or an unhappy person. When it comes to a situation I am a person who just walks away if its bad and I have nothing that has to do with it. I try to avoid the bad and try to work things out if I had something to do with a situation. I think that my friends would have to describe me as the person I am. Now the people that don't know me I think they would describe me as a person who is crazy, funny,and loud person because I can get a little crazy around my friends and just have a good time and laugh a lot. I think my boyfriend would describe me as a crazy, loving, and caring person because with him it's a little different than when I'm with my friends. But I'm still my crazy, funny self.

Today and a little bit about yesterday!!

My plans for today!! I am planning on going over to my boyfriends house today because he is feeling really sad over his friend. I am really happy I had left home yesterday around six in the afternoon before all the sadness and craziness that had happened after I was gone. My boyfriend calls me about eight o'clock at night and he is crying. I ask "Whats going on"? He tells me his friend got shot more than five times after I had left. I stay quiet for a moment and feel so lucky I was not around that time anymore. But I also felt really sad over his friend and my boyfriend because of his friends lost. I guess that my boyfriend and his friends were standing by the mailboxes outside they're apartments and all of a sudden a car with three guys comes up fast and start shooting at my boyfriends friend. He got shot and was taken then to the hospital and died this morning at four. I was really shocked that all that had happened when it had not even been that long that I was around them. I just feel so sad but happy I had left home early yesterday night. I just don't want to imagine what could of happened if I was still with them at that time. :(

my favorite t.v show!!

My favorite T.V show would have to be the one all Hispanic girls watch which would have to be the novelas. It's lots of different shows that come out everyday and there about an hour. They are mostly all about drama, love, excitement and adventure. I enjoy watching them because they are entertaining and I am a person who loves drama and all that kind of stuff with relationships.


The reason why I could not come yesterday was because My sister-in-law called me at the last moment and asked me if I could run to her house and take care of her kids because she was already late for her work. I had no choice but to do that favor for her because she did not find another person to take care of them for that day. Sorry for not calling and letting you guys know.


I want to tell you a little about my Thanksgiving. I had lots of fun with all my family and my boyfriend. He ended up coming over to my house instead of me going to his place after all. Well we had turkey and lots of other foods at my sister-in-laws house. We had turkey, tamales, cakes, mashed potatoes and gravy, and corn. I was so stuffed that day. I love the food it was really good. But what made it more special was that all my family was there and everyone was dancing and just having a good time. :)

10 things I am Thankful for

I am thankful for my FAMILY they are the most wonderful thing that God could give me. I am also thankful for my FRIENDS if it wasn't for them I would probably be a little unhappy and sad because I would not been able to go out as much and just have fun. Also have someone close to me to talk to other than my friends. Also I am thankful for my BOYFRIEND he just makes my life even better when he is around he is carrying and gives me lots of love and just makes my day wonderful. I am thankful for my CELLPHONE,CLOTHING I love to talk on the phone but better yet I love to text with family and friends. I also love clothing there is just so many and lots of colors and stuff. I am thankful for MAKE-UP If there were no make-up i don't know what I would do because I just love the colors and how it looks on people and it just makes you more pretty. I also give thanks for TEACHERS because if it wasn't for them all the students probably would not been able to learn the things we need too to have a better future. I am also thankful for ANIMALS SPECIALLY PANDAS because they are all really cute and they are my favorite animal. I am thankful for MONEY because with out it I would not have everything I have now. I am also thankful for ICE CREAM,FOOD because I enjoy eating ice cream specially rocky road. Also I am thankful for food because with out it we would starve. I am also thankful for the SUN,GRASS because with out the sun it would be ugly and dark. Also the grass because we would not have a place to sit and have a picnic with friends and family.

Thanksgiving week!!

I am not really sure what my family is going to do this Thanksgiving. But I am planning on going over to my boyfriends house with my two friends since their boyfriends live there to. We are going to cook turkey for them and have Thanksgiving there. I am really excited for that day to come because it's going to be my first time cooking a turkey with the help of my friends of course. Now on the rest of the days we have off I plan to spend time with one of my friends that's coming from California to visit for the week. I am excited for that too. I have not seen him for almost a year. I think my family is just going to end up going to my sister-in-laws to have turkey there.

THE BOOK WE ARE READING

I think the title of the book The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian means that its about a boy who is half Indian. I also think it means that it's going to talk about his life as a part time Indian and how its changing as he goes on. I think that the author chose that name probably because the main character of the book is half Indian that's why it says "A part time-Indian" or probably he chose that title and to write about it because he was a friend of an Indian and they both probably had to go through all that trouble Junior is in the story. My opinion on this book is it's a nice book. I like it. I enjoy reading it. It's also really funny and has a lot of details to it.

Reservation of book!

My reservation about the town in the book would have to be scary and sad and a place where you could not live happily.

Me living in that town would probably be scary for me knowing they treat people bad and have no respect for them just because they feel like hurting that person. I also think I would not be able to stand living there for the fact that every time I would go out I would have to be watching out for people or kids that did not seem to care about anyone else but them self. Also if I lived there I would have so much hate for the people who still lived there and I knew they had treated the Indians bad. I would just not like to live there at all.

JUNIOR

Junior is a guy who is half white and half Indian. He was born with lots of fluid inside his brain. He also had lots of teeth that had to be pulled out because of so many that he had. Junior also wears glasses and he is skinny. His hands and feet are huge.

Junior is a kid who is scared because they always pick on him. He acts all happy when he is around his best friend. He just likes to enjoy the time they spend together.

His personality traits are funny, and open minded. He seems to be a really nice and calm guy who does not like danger or the bad things.

WHY I DID NOT COME TO SCHOOL!!!

I was not here yesterday when we had started the new book because:

I was cramping really bad and I just felt like I was not going to be able to come in to class. I was also not able to call in because my phone was not letting me make calls. Why? because I ran out all my minutes already and so in the house there where no one who had a phone at that time.

I am sorry for not coming in but I am here today and excited to read and listen to you read the story to us. Jessica told me a little about it. She says that it's a really good book so far. :)

MY BOOK!!

The book I am reading about is called: Girls In Tears

The book is about three girls that are best friends. The main one is Ellie. Ellie is a girl who is always thinking she is not good looking like her friends are that she can't get a boyfriend like her friends. Till this one day she falls in love with this boy that becomes her everything. His name is Russell and he is a really nice guy that falls for Ellie to. Ellie lives at home with her step mom and dad and her little brother. Her mom died.

The thing I like about this book is that it's a teen book and I love reading about love and friendship books. I don't think I have anything to say about not liking it. I enjoy reading this book.

TODAY/SATURDAY/SUNDAY

Hey, well I am going to tell you about my plans for today!!

I am planning on going to the movies tonight with my boyfriend and some friends. We are going to to see Paranormal activity. I am so excited because I really want to see the movie and see for myself if it's really scary. That's what everyone has been telling me so far that have seen it.
So can't for that wait. Oh also we are planning on going to JC's Pizza so we can eat. Its about 9 people who are all going so its going to be really fun.

On Saturday:
I am planing on going to a Halloween party with one of my close friends. We got invited so I think I will be doing that. Then later on I plan to go to my boyfriend's house in Woodburn and spend the rest of the night with him since I have not been spending a lot of time with him since he works.
I also plan to go trick-or-treat with my little nieces and nephews to. I bet that would be fun taking candy away from them. Hahaha. So that's pretty much it

Sunday:
I just plan to stay home and sleep. :)

FORMAL LETTER

Dear Rebekah,

I expect to have these three things accomplished from this class once I have finished in here.
I expect to improve my reading skills up to a higher level then what I had started with when I started. I pick that because when I started in your class I was at a really low level. I also want to leave this class with my writing skills improved. I have seen that they have improved a lot since I been in here. Also I expect to leave this class knowing how to understand more the poems and how to read and know what they are telling me. I struggle a lot with that but now that we have been working in class I have improved on it to. I am happy I have accomplished some of my goals in your class. I think the author wrote this poem because maybe he had known someone close or just a strange person who had gone through that story he did, or it might of happened to him but he just changed the characters around. The reason why I chose this poem is because I think it has a lot of meaning to it on the way he expresses the feelings of the people. But also I thought it was really sad on how the lady would be so affected on her husbands death. Also how she would take it out on her child to for bringing the dads memory back. I think that the poem is just good and I enjoyed it a lot.

I am planning to go to the movies and dancing to flamingo this weekend with my friends.
I am also going to my friends house. I might spend the night over there and hope we have lots of fun which we always do. Then probably go to the costume store to get my costume for Halloween which I am excited about. I am not so sure what I am going to be this year. I am planning on being a bunny jaja. I would have to pick the song Comprendeme by German Montero!

The main idea: about this song is that the guy is telling his girl at the time that he does not want to be with her anymore. He is really sorry for telling her that their love story that they started has ended up in a bad way. Also he is telling her that he is writing this song to her because he wants her to know that he does not feel nothing for her. The love he had for her is all over. He asks her to forget him for all the promises he made her. He does not want to live with the gilt of being with her and not loving her. If he keeps lying to her he is afraid that he will be without a god. He also tells her that he rather see her sad for a couple of days than for him to see that for the rest of his life. I just love this song even though it's sad. The main point of this song was that the guy is breaking up with the girl and he is asking her for forgiveness that he did not mean to hurt her in anyway he just wants the best for him and her.

Why i think people write poetry!

I think that people write poetry because to them its a way of expressing the way they feel. I also think that the people that write songs and stuff is also a way for them to express them self's and share with everyone else the way they are feeling at the time they are writing the song and poetry. In my opinion I like both. I think they are interesting listening to someone else's way of thinking and expression. I love listening to music because it cheers me on and makes me feel happy at times and at other times it just gets me really sad because of the things it say's that just reminds you of the things you wanted to forget. Other than that I love music and poetry it's just a way of expressing your love life and everything on your mind. It's actually nice that the people that make it share it with everyone else who listens or reads it.

FAMILY TRADITION!!!

In my family the best holiday tradition would have to be Christmas!

I really enjoy when Christmas comes around because all my family gets together and we party all night long. Everyone calls each other and we make plans at who's house we are going to meet at. Like who's house. Usually every Christmas we always do it at my house maybe because it's bigger than everyone else's. I enjoy the great and yummy food my mom and sisters make. Everyone usually brings something made from their houses too and just make it a bigger celebration oh and lets not for get about the gifts. Our tree gets really packed in our family because there is a lot of kids and adults in my family. The thing I enjoy the most is seeing all my family united together and see my mom happy that she has all her kids and my little nieces and nephews all together as a really happy family.

My birthday this weekend!!!

Hey Rebeka,

Well i am going to tell you what I am going to do this weekend!!
I am going to turn 19 this Saturday. I am so happy. My mom and I are going to make posole and some tamales. I don't know if you have ate that food but it is really yummy. All my friends are going to come and celebrate it with me. It's funny because there are two guys that are wanting to get with me but I see them more like friends right now because I'm getting to know them a little more. Its funny because they are both going to be there and they each asked me if I had invited each of them and I had said yes and I am just worried because they seem not to get along. I think it's funny in a way. They are both caring and funny. Anyways back to my birthday plans. :0) I am going to have a butterfly cake because I love butterfly's. I also found out that Malia's birthday is the same day as mine and she is going to have a party on the 24 in Mollala and she invited me to celebrate it with her that day to. I am so excited because it's going to be a big party there is going to be four girls with me celebrating it that day. I am taking it as a big thing. I am just so excited!! =)

Place I never want to go again!

I would not want to go to the hospital, not that anyone likes to be there but that's just one place I would not like to be in again. I hate being inside a hospital because its really quiet and sad and depressing just to be in. I was there for a whole week because my uncle was really sick and it would just make me so depressed and sad just looking at all the kids and adults that where in there trying to fight for there life's. Also I hate it when you first walk in a hospital it has this really nasty smell to me such as blood mixed with medicine and a lot of other things. I know its a really nice place for the people that need to be in there but that person just would not be me.

PLACE I CONSIDER MOST TO BE!

I think that the place where I would like to most be at would have to be inside my room.
I think my room is the most quiet place in my whole house. I love to sleep in my room and sometimes eat when my mom is not around. I also love it because I always have it cleaned and smelling good like fresh flowers like a tropical place.
My room has four walls and they're all white with pictures of family and friends hanging from each off the walls. I Also have big and small teddy bears hanging from the sealing of my room. Also there is pictures of me on the walls too. I have two beds in my room because sometimes my nephew likes to sleep in my room with me so we just had his bed moved to my room which gives me less space to put all my stuff in. The reason why I love to be in my room is because I can talk to my boyfriend peacefully and the thing I like about it is that I can lock my door so noone can come in while I'm talking. The other reason is because I can relax when I'm stressed out and can just lay down and have the fresh air come in threw my window. I love it when it hits me it just makes me enjoy it even more and just forget about all the stress. I just love to be inside my room!!

September 11th!!

What I remember of September 11th was that I was in 4th grade. I remember the teachers turning on the news and stuff in the classrooms. I remember being really sad because of all the people and kids that had died that day. It was just a really quiet and weird day for me watching the news and looking at the terrible things that had happened that day. It was just a really terrible and sad day to remember.

PLACE I WOULD GO!!

If I could choose any place outside the United States I think I would have to choose to visit Acapulco Guerrero.

I think I would love to go there because they have a lot of nice beaches and really pretty places I could go and visit. Also enjoy the beautiful sunny days out with friends and with family.

I imagine it's really fun, beautiful, sunny, cheerful, and many kinds of different big birds with lots of colors and really beautiful long beaks. But also I believe there's some parts where is not so nice and beautiful.

The first thing I would probably do once I get there is get a hotel and stay there, Then I think I would go down to the beach and get wet because I love to swim and have a nice cold fruit drink or a pina colada. After that probably go with friends shopping and just walk around the streets and look around Acapulco and just enjoy the time I am there and for get about everything back home and enjoy my stay in Acapulco Guerrero.

My ideal day!

My ideal day would have to be in Portland, Oregon. I would love to be there and stay for a whole day and night with my boyfriend. I would love to go to the closest coast or river and get wet and enjoy the day. At night I would love to go to this restaurant called El Marador. They say the restaurant is located all the way to the top of a hill where you can see the whole view of Portland. At night you can see the light and everything. It just looks so beautiful and romantic. Every time I go it just makes me have so much peace in me while I view everything around me.

MOST EMBARRASING MOMENT!!

My most embarrassing moment would probably have to be on October 31st.
That was the most embarrassing moment for me because it was Halloween. I was with all my friends including my boyfriend. We were just walking around in the streets taking the kids to trick-or-treat. I was just so into the things my friends where talking about and there was a bump on the floor which I seem not to see it. I just tripped and fell to the floor and hurt myself really bad. I was wearing a skirt that day and when I least expected I almost landed with my legs open but luckily I didn't. They all started laughing at me instead of helping me try to get up. I got so red at that moment and got up and walked away for a few moments to cool off. My boyfriend followed me and said it was fine, don't worry, that could of happen to anyone. I thought that was so embarrassing for me.

I also have another of my moments when I was at my sisters apartments. I was up stairs and my sister was talking to me from down the stairs. I did not notice that there was no step on one of the stairs and I kept talking to my sister stepping down the stairs not realizing there was one missing. I kept looking at my sister and all of a sudden I stepped where the missing step was gone and there was a piece of metal on the middle of the step to hold the stair. I ended up falling so fast that I did not realize what was going on. The piece of metal was between both my legs and I was wearing a skirt that day. Oh my god it hurt so bad is what I remember saying at that moment. I could not stand the pain. I just started crying in front of everyone and could not even get up till someone helped me. I got so red because everyone that was outside and in the pool were just staring at me and laughing at first but then they felt bad because of the way I landed. At the end of everything I ended up with two big bruises and scratches all over my legs and was so embarrassed to go outside for a whole week.

FALL

My favorite things in the fall is that it gets really cold and I seem to love that because I can just go to my room and lay down with two blankets and be really warm watching movies or what ever is on T.V. Also what I like about it is that my birthday is in October so I think that's pretty cool. I seem to like the leaves on the floor to and all the beautiful colors they have. I just think that it feels really nice when your walking out side and it's windy and the fresh air hits you. I love that feeling. I also think that my favorite season would have to be the fall.

Why I think people become addicted?

I think that people start to get addicted to drugs,alcohol,food and many other things because once they start taking those kinds of things it just makes them feel good inside and even makes them forget if they are stressed or they are mad. It helps them forget if something is bugging them and just makes them feel like they are loved and they don't need anyone but themselves.

SCHOOL and education!!

I think that school and education is really important to students and even as adults because we need to learn as we go and teach someone else what we have learned. Also its important because what you have learned in school can relate to what you want to do in your future later in life and do something you have a passion for. I think its important to me because it is helping me improve and become a better person in life.

I come to school to learn and improve my skills in life and to maybe someday be able to help someone else in the future since I want to be a kindergarten teacher.

DEDICATION!!

I think that I'm really dedicated of taking care of my nephews and nieces while my sister goes to work and I have to take care of them and make sure nothing bad happens to them and around them.
I am also dedicated in my studies because I need my education and have a better future.
I also think I am dedicated to taking care of the house while an adult is not around and keeping it nice and clean.
I am dedicated to helping my aunt while my uncle is in the hospital and she needs my help.
I think being dedicated to something is really important to me in my life because if it wasn't then I would probably just not care about anything in life pretty much.

KINDERgARtEN TEACHE AND WORKINg in AN ELDERLY HOME

If I had to choose any job in the world I think I would choose to be a kindergarten teacher!

WHY?
I think I would be great at that job because I work well with the small kids and not just that I enjoy being around them because they are so cute and funny. I also think I have enough patients to be a kindergarten teacher because I can be around little kids the whole day. I just think that the things they say and do are so adorable and I would be so entertain with them.

I also think I have another job I would choose and It would be to work in a elderly home to take care of the older adults in any place in the world.

WHY?
I would love to work taking care of the elderly people because I have lots of respect for them and I think I would enjoy working with them. They are like baby's when they are older and can't take care of themselves and I think I would love that job because its as if you where taking care of a baby and I love baby's.

most important person that influences me

I think that the person that is more important right now other than my parents would have to be my sister-in-law because she is a really out going person just like I am. I just love the fact that she is a person that does not give up in life and keeps her head up high. Abby has always been there for me when ever I need to talk to some one. Also she makes me keep going with my studies because she never gave up on hers and as an adult she is still going to college and finishing up her career which I will some day too.

WHAT I THINK ABOUT PARENTS AND GRANDPARENTS

I think that our parents are supposed to always give us love and support and give us lots of care. I think that all the parents should be like that to their kids if they are bringing them in to the world and be kind and playful also. At some point I think that they could discipline the kids to a point. But I think the most important one is to give them love and care.

I dont think that is always true because there are alot of parents who are way different to their kids and some are really caring and loving so it is part true and part not true.

Our grandparents I think that they have to show us as kids and as their grandkids that they care about us and give us lots of love always. My grandparparents are hardly around me and they nevergive me or show me the love I need from them. That makes me feel like they just don't care about me or my sisters and brothers.

EVALUATION ON MOVIE!!

I think that OBAMA has a point when he was telling us that there is no excuse for us as students to be skipping class and being rude to our teachers and dropping out of school. Their are taking some of there time to come and give us the education that we need. Also he has a point when he was saying that the education is really important in our future and can help us get a better job and have a better life. I agree with his whole speech on everything he said. He just wants the best for us.

FAVORITE THING TO DO ON SPARE TIME!

My favorite thingS to do on my spare time would probably be reading because I like to read books that are excitting and have action and love. Also I like to be on my cell phone talking to my friends.
I also love to hang out with my friends at the park or maybe go out to eat with them and spend some time together. I also enjoy spending time with my family because they are so funny and loud they are always laughing and making jokes about each other when we where little. The reason why I like talking on my phone or texting on it is because I usually don't have nothing to do and I'm really bored other than that I like to go to the park and play or just go and take a nice walk out.

Summer plans!

My summer plans this year are to have lots of fun with my friends and family but also read a lot and try to work this year.

My plans are to read at least an hour or so a day. I also plan to read the books that I enjoy to read. Such as the "Life on the Refrigerator Door". That book is one of my favorites. Its a really sad story and I can read it over and over. Also I will read the book "Romiette and Julio". That's also one of my favorite books. Its a really interesting book to read and I would love to finish reading it over the summer.

Now my other plans are to go camping for the 4th of July.
Also, I plan to go to the coast in Lincoln City and the rivers. The one my family and I go to every summer is called North fork. That's a really nice river to take pictures or just go and relax in the water and spend some time with family and friends. I also plan to work in the cannery with my friends which will be starting pretty soon. I also plan to spend as much time as I can with my boyfriend Anthony and go to the rivers and every place which is fun such as the dances and family parties also. I plan to go down to California this summer with one of my friends. She wants me to go and visit her dad down there and meet him. I also have a friend that I see down there and family so I'm excited to go down there for a week. Maybe my boyfriend will be able to come along.

My other plans are to move out from home and to move in with my best friend Magdalena. We will try to get an apartment this summer and move in together. I'm really excited about my plans and hope everything goes as planned.

Most like

I think that I am most like Lily from the book.

I think that I am like her in many ways. Lily is funny, loving, and crazy at times. That's why I think I'm like her a lot. I am always crazy around my friends and I like to be funny at times to. Lily also likes to take control of things and likes to be the grown up person in the beginning of the book and I am one of those persons who likes to do the things my way too and also take risks with things. Lily also does not have her mother by her side and was raised with her dad and in my case I have been raised by my mother and my dad passed away.

Two girls who mean alot to me

My friend's mom is some one who is really close to me even though we are not blood related. She has been there for me as a second mother. She is always taking care of me and giving me advice on what I'm doing. She is always helping me or my family with something we need. She takes me to places and provides me with what I need. She also treats me as another daughter to her.

I also have a sister-in-law who is always after me telling me the right things and the bad ones. She is always caring for me and my mother. She has always been nice to all my family and I consider her more like an older sister that gives me advice about life. I see her more than just my sister-in-law because I can always talk to her openly and she understands me.

Evaluation about "The Secret life of bee's"

I think that the best part about the book The Secret Life of Bee's would be how Roseleen is always caring about Lily no matter what. She has been there for her as her mother figure now that her mom is not there with her. Roseleen has always been there for Lily through good and bad.


The worst thing about the book would have to be how Lily's dad does not care about how she feels or her needs. He is always worrying more about himself and does not pay attention to Lily. He needs to pay more attention to her and be there for her like the father that he should be to her now that Lily does not have her mom around.

Discription of May

(May)

May is a young girl who is a little more in her own little world. She likes to do things her way. She always ends up getting sad every time some one around her talks about something sad or if they bring up her sister that died. That always brings her to tears. May is a little more crazy than the other sisters. She is always coming up with strange things. May also makes bologna sandwiches for all to eat mainly everyday.

Over the three day weekend!

What I did over the weekend was I spend lots of time with my family. My family and I where supposed to go camping up to Detroit Lake but it just did not go as planned. We ended up going to Oaks park. That was really fun. It was also really hot that day we went which was on Saturday. On Sunday me and my family ended up going to North Fork which that was a blast. I ended up getting a sun burn but its alright. The water turned out to be really cold so I did not really end up going in the water. On Monday I ended up going to my cousins birthday for a little bit. They were having tamales (yummy) and then ended up going home because the other side of my family wanted to have a BBQ at my house so that was also pretty fun. I ended up having a blast on my three day weekend and can't wait for next week to go camping for sure this time up to Detroit.

Opinion about book!

I really enjoy the teacher reading the book The Secret Life of Bees to class. I think its a really interesting book. It has so many things and adventures to it and a lot of crazy things Lily does. I also like the fact of how Lily has Roseanne in her life. I like the way Lily and all the girls in the book get along and everything. I also like it a lot because it talks about all the things Lily has to go through just to find out about her mother or what really happened.

Qeen bee

I think that the queen bee in the story would be Lily.

I think she is the queen bee in the story because she is always the one who is making the decisions and thinking ahead of things what Rosaleen and her would do next.

Three things i learned about bee keeping

I learned that if you get stung by a bee you should not squeeze it you should scrape it off with an edge of a book, paper or a credit card anything that has an edge to it.

Also I learned that the bees once they are full they go back to the hive and pass their food to their partner or another bee so they can go back and find more.

Also I learned that if the bee stings you and you squeeze it it can actually pass you some venom and it can hurt more.

The entrance of the farm:
big wooden sign with Owens Peach Enterprises painted across it in the worst orange color. but the sign was nothing compared with the giant peach perched atop a six-foot pole beside the gate with its fleshy color, not to mention the crease down the middle, gave it the unmistakable appearance of a rear end.


The descriptions where not the same as mine because I used more things such as the smells and more colors I think I gave a little more discription to my room then the author did in the part i choosed but just by reading that small piece i could see in my mind how it looked like as if I was passing by the farm and seeing the things it said.

Describing a setting!!!

My room has four walls that are painted white and covered with pictures of family and friends so that you can hardly see the color of the walls. Also bright green strings hanging from the ceiling with a picture of a bird with lots of colors on it. There is also a bed with cover sheets that are white with red roses on it. In the right side corner next to the brown cabinet there is also a big black t.v with a little pink and red butterfly. Also there's a big doll from my sweet fifteen standing on a piece of wood on the upper corner of my room. There's also a blue basket next to the brown cabinet with different color clothes. My room is a really quiet relaxing place to lay down and chill or a place to take a good nap but it can also get loud and crazy in there with music coming from every direction. There's a long window on one of the walls and when the sun or that nice relaxing air comes in it makes you just want to let go of what you are doing and go to sleep. You can hear the nice sound of the birds coming in through the window from outside where you can also laydown in the bed and look out through the window and see a big green tree. My room has lots of smells. One day it can have a fruity smell to it or a rose smell to it. I guess it just depends on what I spray.

Ways Lily could have dealt with situation

I think that Lily should of not run away with Rosaleen:
Because then when they find them Rosaleen is just going to end up getting more in trouble so I think she should of just stayed in jail untill they had let her out.

Also I think Lily had a good idea on running away with Rosaleen and start something new where they both would not get in so much trouble and some where Rosaleen would not be treated so badly.

My Best Friend Magdalena

I have known Magdalena for almost four years. We have been really good friends ever since. I love her as if she was my really close sister. Magdalena is some one who you can trust. Magdalena will be their for you when you need her or just if you need someone to listen to you when you are sad and need advice. When me and her are together she is always making me laugh with her things she says or does. The one thing in particular is when she starts singing a song that starts with "woa woa woa" and we even sing it together. One thing she loves to do the most is dance in front of people. I think she is a really good dancer too. The one thing I most admire about her is the way she is always caring for other people other than herself. She gives them what they need at the time and if they ask her for money or anything and if she knows she has it she will give it to them. Magdalena also likes to match her outfit to her shoes. I think she is the only friend that I have had that has all the flip flops and all the colors that match with her shirt. I love her so much because she has been there for me when I most need her. I enjoy being with her all the time. We have so much fun together. We have so much in common that I think thats what makes us be best friends. I will always love her for who she is and always will.

Sue Monk Kidd

I learned that Sue Monk Kidd was born in august 12,1948. Also she born in Sylvester Georgia and then she also attended a school called Texas Christian University and graduated from that school with a B.S. nursing degree in the year of 1970. Sue Monk Kidd's first book she made was called God's Joyful Surprise which was in the year of 1988. Sue Monk Kidd then had started the novel called The Secret Life Of Bees which she was then done with after three and a half years that had passed. Her novel became so famous that they began to use it in the New York theaters.

MY TOUGHTS ABOUT FIRST BLOG

my oppinion on how in class we start out with a blog is actually a nice thing. I think its a good idea because we get to search new things and also learn as we go. Also we write down what we learned in that story we searched and read. Also we get to write a pharagraph in our own words. I think its a great way to start class. =]
