Why i have not been here!!

The reason why I haven't been coming to your class for a week is because I been really sick. I started out with a cold and then became a fever. I thought I would be getting better but it just seemed like it was getting worst each day. So I am sorry I have not been coming.

like and dislike

I really like my HEALTH class because I learned a lot of new things about our body, drugs and alcohol and a lot of other bad and good things that can happen to me if I make the wrong choice.

I dislike DRAWING CLASS because I am not really good at drawing things or coming up with my own. I have a hard time doing that and don't even know why if that's one of the easiest classes but its not made for me.

I also liked my MATH class my junior and senior year at North Salem High School. I think I had the nicest teacher which was Mr.Snively. He is the best teacher for me those two years because he would always make math class fun for his students and was always a teacher who was friendly. He seemed to get along with kids easily. He also would make fun of us if we had a nick name or something we go by and just made us laugh at his jokes or things he would say. I think he was one of my good teachers in that school.

Opinion!!

I think that Anne did want her diaries to be published. I don't think she would of gotten mad or anything because what she went threw is something none of us can experience only unless you are a person who went through the same as she and her family did. I think Anne would be happy and proud that her life story has made a lot of people all over the world read and admire what she went through and all the sad and happiness that she had with her family and friends. I am glad her book was published because I like it and its really interesting to read and learn from and funny how you can relate to her story at times.

WHAT WOULD I DO!!

I honestly would not know what to do if I was transported in Amsterdam. I think I would be really scared just like Anne was if I was going through all the horrible things Anne and her family went through. But if I was there I think I would just get all my strength and bravery and just go through it and try to save myself and my family.

What I think!!

I think that Anne does have a point on what she says in the book about, "And whoever is happy will make others happy too." I think that if a person is happy it makes others be happy also because they are around a person who is happy and has a nice positive attitude. It also makes others have the same attitude. So I think she does have a point and it is true unless one person can be happy and the other is just having a bad day that not even a smile can change his negative day.

What I think!!

I think that if I was in Anne's place and had to hide for that time I think I would do so to. The reasons why is because I would want to be safe and not get killed over something that is not my fault or something I had nothing to do in. I would also be really scared if I was in her shoes. I don't think I would change anything of what Anne did if I was in her situation.

LETTER

Dear Anne,
I am writing you this letter to you to suggest some advice. I think that would help you get along better with your mom and the Van Daans. I think that you should try and listen to them and try to understand there point of view even if you don't want to or not interested in listening to them. I think that makes you be a better person and also makes them like you for trying to help them and understand them more. I don't think you should hate or try to get them on your bad side because right now its about helping and being there for each other.

Anne's dad (Pim)

Pim and Anne seem to get along really well. In the book it says that he is a lovely person to Anne. It seems like he relates more to her and understands her better then her mom because he does not judge her and tries to give her advice. It seems like to me that Anne is more comfortable being around her dad than anyone else. Pim is also a person who cares about other people other than his family.

Valentines Day

On Valentine's Day me and my boyfriend are planning on going to the coast and stay the night at a hotel along with some other friends. I am really excited for that day to come. I am also planning on making him a dinner myself and I think I am going to get him a bear and some chocolate since everyone loves chocolate. :)
I also want to spend sometime with my family and nieces and all of them since its a really caring and loving day. I plan to buy them all something to, at least just a little thing.

Anne's MOM

Anne's mom is a nice lady!
I read that she understands Anne and supports her and she also treats her like a baby still. I also read that her mom can be a bit of a person that can get fits alot when she is not in a good mood or not feeling to good.

Why I think people helped Anne's family!!

I think that the people who lived around the Frank family helped them because If they where in there situation they would want help from other people to. I also think that they helped Anne's family because they must of been a nice family to all of them and have helped them out at some point to. I just think that they were a family that everyone liked around there.

I learned by reading about the story about Anne Frank that the only reason why people these days know about her is because of her diary that was then published in Dutch, the year 1947 by her father Otto Frank.

What is Halocaust!!

I have no idea what Holocaust is or means. I have never heard that word ever in my life until this day. I do want to know what it is or what it means. I want to know if its a place or thing.

My times line!!

My name is Cristal Cervantes. I am now 19 years old. I'm attending Downtown Learning Center trying to finish my education and get my diploma.
Once I am done graduating from Downtown Learning Center I want to keep going with my study and start at Chemeketa Community College. I plan to become a pre-school teacher and work with young kids.
Once I have accomplished my career I plan to start working as a teacher part time.
I plan to get married and have my first kid at 23 years old and be a house wife, but also keep going with my career as a teacher.

CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEARS!!

Over my Christmas and New Years break was pretty fun. I got to hang out with my family and friends. The things that I liked about it is that we got to sleep in more and relax. On Christmas Eve all my family came down and had food and lots of goodies at my house. We just had a great time talking and dancing.When that was over we decided to open the gifts. Since this year we did secret Santa we decided to open those first and I got some jeans and some blue shirts. After that we opened the rest of the gifts and I got more nice stuff like perfume and more clothes.

On New Years it was a little more boring well for me. We also decided to celebrate it at my house wit everyone. They made some posole and other stuff. I was in a really bad mood that night because I ended up braking up with my boyfriend so that night was just not my night. Other than that at the end of the night I cooled down and enjoyed the rest of the night with my mom and family. The nice thing about that night was that my Ex called and wished me a Happy New year!!

I am also going to tell you a little bit about my get away from Salem for a week. Me and one of my other friends decided to go up to Bend for a whole week with three of our guy friends since they have a house up there because of there jobs. That whole week was so much fun because other than the three hour drive we had up there. It started snowing that same night we got there and got so white out in the streets so fast that me and my friend could not wait to go out side and play on the snow. The guys came along and played with us to. We had a snow fight and were so covered in the snow that at the end we where all tired and really cold from the snow shower we had. After all that experience I thought Salem was boring but after that I would not want to leave Salem and move some where else because I missed all my friends and family and even the stores.
